Biography

Adolf Luri Tia is a dedicated Ghanaian construction professional and estate management practitioner with extensive experience in building technology, construction supervision, and public sector service. Born on 23rd September 1987, he has built a strong career rooted in technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to infrastructure development in Ghana.

Adolf began his academic journey in vocational and technical education, attending St. Basilide’s Vocational/Technical High Institute where he obtained National Vocational Trade Test Grade I & II along with a City & Guilds Intermediate certification. His passion for construction and craftsmanship led him to Sunyani Polytechnic, where he specialized in Advanced Carpentry and Joinery Craft between 2009 and 2011.

He further pursued higher education at Tamale Polytechnic, completing an Access Programme before earning a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Technology in 2015. Adolf later advanced his academic qualifications at Sunyani Technical University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) degree in Building Technology in 2019. Demonstrating a continuous commitment to professional growth, he is currently pursuing a Master of Technology (MTech) in Construction Technology and Management at the same institution, where he has reached the thesis stage.

Professionally, Adolf has amassed significant experience across both private and public sectors. He began his career in 2008 as a General Foreman at Brunos Construction in Kaleo, followed by supervisory roles in various construction projects, including private developments in Tumu and renovation works in Tamale. He also undertook industrial training with Architecture and Engineering Services Limited, which enriched his technical understanding of design and construction processes.

His career includes national service with the Kwahu East District Assembly, where he contributed to works within the district’s engineering department. He also played a supervisory role in infrastructure development, notably working with the Irrigation Development Authority on the rehabilitation of the Wenchiki Dam.

Between 2018 and 2021, Adolf worked as a Site Supervisor at Raincoat Roofing Systems Limited, overseeing roofing installation projects and ensuring quality compliance. Since September 2021, he has been serving as a Senior Estate Management Assistant at E.P. College of Education in Bimbilla, where he is responsible for estate planning, facility supervision, and maintenance coordination.

In addition, Adolf has continued to build his expertise through internships, most recently with the Nanumba North Municipal Assembly, further strengthening his knowledge in municipal construction and estate management practices.

Adolf is proficient in several technical and computer-aided design tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Endurocadd, as well as common office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. He is also multilingual, speaking English, Sissale, Dagaare, and Twi, which enhances his communication and collaboration skills across diverse environments.

His leadership potential was evident early in his education, serving as Financial Secretary for the Furniture and Wood Product Students Association of Ghana (FAWOPSAG) while at Sunyani Polytechnic, and as Health Prefect during his secondary school years.
