E.P College of Education, Bimbilla, invites applications from suitably qualified and competent candidates for employment to the following Teaching and Non-Teaching positions:

A. Teaching Positions

1. Early Childhood Education
2. Vocational and Technical Education (Food/Nutrition/Clothing)
3. Social Studies (Specifically UEW Trained)
4. Agricultural Science 

Qualification (Lecturer)

1. Applicants must hold a PhD in the specific job-related area.
2. MPhil holders in the relevant area or candidates with Research Masters may also apply.
3. Candidates with considerable teaching experience in the relevant subject area will be an added advantage.

Appointment to the position of Lecturer shall be for a term of five (5) years and may be renewed for a second term upon satisfactory performance.  A Lecturer’s appointment may be renewed up to a maximum of three terms, that is a total of fifteen (15) years upon which the appointment may be terminated unless the applicant qualifies for promotion to Senior Lecturer position.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Teaching
2. Setting and marking of assignments and examinations
3. Supervision of students’ projects
4. Research and Publication
5. Invigilation of examinations
6. Supervision of students’ internship
7. Assisting in the administration of the department
8. Extension of work/service to the College and Nation
9. Any other related duties assigned by the Principal or his/her representative

B. Non-Teaching Positions

1. Assistant Internal Auditor
2. Chief Security Officer (Preferably a retired Army Officer)

 

1. ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDITOR

 Qualification

Applicants must hold a good first degree and a Master’s degree in the relevant subject area and must be a member of a recognized accounting professional association.

Duties

The Assistant Internal Auditor shall assist the Internal Auditor in the management and administration of the Internal Audit Unit. 

 

2. CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER

Qualification

The applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.

Must have served in the Armed Forces, Police or any major security services and must have impeccable record of service. He or she must be 45 Years or below.

Duties   

The Chief Security Officer shall be responsible for the overall administration of the safety and security needs and services of the College Community.

These shall include: 

1. Supervising and Training of staff on security matters
2. Advising Management on the security and logistics needs
3. Exercising control over all security personnel on campus
4. Ensuring discipline among security staff
